This renovation of an 1889 historic property was an especially meaningful project for us – not just because we love breathing new life into neglected antique buildings, but also because the building is home to our North River Builders office.
The Beech House gets its name from the towering 130+ year old beech tree that stands guard on the north side of the building. It is is one of the oldest and most recognized trees in Bedford and has become a town landmark. As part of the building’s renovation, we also completely redesigned the landscape and hardscape, adding a beautiful new micro-park centered around the beech tree, which we keep open to the public.
