A family in Lexington, MA contacted us for a luxury kitchen remodel when they were looking to make some big changes to their home. Although it was a relatively young house, the kitchen and dining areas were surprisingly closed off from the rest of the main level. High on their remodeling wish list was a more cohesive, functional, and open kitchen and dining area that also felt more connected to their outdoor spaces.
To make it all possible, we added onto the back of the house, and incorporated significant structural steel components – all concealed within the walls and ceilings. This allowed for the removal of existing bearing walls that once separated the space. Removing those walls opened up all sorts of possibilities for the new floorplan!
The newly reimagined light-filled kitchen and dining areas provide perfect spaces for hosting large gatherings of family and friends, and the window seat invites quiet moments. These gorgeous updates will be enjoyed every day for their beauty, as well as functionality.
