The Beech House - Historic Renovation

The Background

This renovation of an 1889 historic property was an especially meaningful project for us – not just because we love breathing new life into neglected antique buildings but also because the building is home to our North River Builders office.

The Beech House gets its name from the towering 130+-year-old beech tree that stands guard on the north side of the building. It is one of Bedford’s oldest and most recognized trees and has become a town landmark.

The Renovation

As part of the building’s renovation, we also completely redesigned the landscape and hardscape, adding a beautiful new micro-park centered around the beech tree, which we keep open to the public.
